Create a playlist

Written for GreetPlayer 5.0.1

Free Works in GreetPlayer Free and Pro.

A playlist lists existing Media entries. Each item keeps its own settings: skin, chapters, captions, overlays and so on. A playlist can mix videos and audio.

Step by step

Build a playlist and embed it.

  1. Create the items first

The GreetPlayer Media screen listing bubbles, players, audio entries and playlists

Create and publish each video or audio entry (Add New → Media).

  2. Create the playlist

The Add New dialog with the Playlist tab, Name field and Layout options

Go to GreetPlayer → Media and click Add New. Choose Playlist, enter a Name and click Create.

  3. Add the media

The playlist editor with three entries under Media in This Playlist

Under Media in This Playlist, click Add Media and pick your entries. Drag them, or use the arrows, to set the order.

  4. Choose the layout

The playlist Layout option set to Grid, with Autoplay Next and Show Titles

Pick the Layout: Sidebar (list beside the player) or Grid (cards below it). Turn Autoplay Next and Show Titles on or off.

  5. Publish and embed

The How To Use This Media panel showing the player shortcode

Click Publish and paste the playlist’s shortcode into a page.
